Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop (card 2)

Welcome to the Coffee Lover's  Spring Blog Hop where Coffee Lover's Unite and are creating Coffee themed Creations!  For my second card I again used a stamp by Stampendous that I won on the last one from Anja Curvers.  It is such a fun saying, but I didn't have anything to go with it, so I  looked through clipart that I had from my Hallmark Card Studio (I use it sometimes to print my sentiments inside mainly) but thought if I could find some that went with it..well,  here's the second one that i found....so I shrunk it, printed and fussy cut them out...

There are many sponsors that will be giving away prizes,  be sure to check out this website:  http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/category/spring2015bloghop/

Coffee Lover's Spring Blog Hop (card 1)

Welcome to the Coffee Lover's  Spring Blog Hop where Coffee Lover's Unite and are creating Coffee themed Creations!  For my first card I used a stamp by Stampendous that I won on the last one from Anja Curvers.  It is such a fun saying, but I didn't have anything to go with it, so I  looked through clipart that I had from my Hallmark Card Studio (I use it sometimes to print my sentiments inside mainly) but thought if I could find some that went with it..well,  On this one I found two pretty similar ones and thought how fun it would be to put them together....so I shrunk them, printed and fussy cut them out...(her hair was a challenge..lol)  There are many sponsors that will be giving away prizes,  be sure to check out this website:  http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/category/spring2015bloghop/  here are some of them:

Graphics 45 Sympathy Card

Here's a sympathy card for a friend that lost her furbaby the other day.  It was nine years ago that we met, our pups were best friends but after mine blowing out her knee was no longer able to run with them at around 3 years, but when ever we passed her home our dogs would drag us to the door to say hi to Oden, he will be missed.

I used unity stamps for the sentiment, The frame was Crate Papers "Notes and things" from Papercrafter's corner.  The flowers were Petaloo from a blog hop win, the ribbon was May Arts from another blog hop win.  The Stamp inside was SWALK, pedigree chum where I masked out the baby and added a few balls into his cheeks (Oden would hide as many as 4 -5 at a time).  Debbie will like that touch.  He was colored with Spectrum Noir pencils.  I am entering it into Craft Hoarders Anonymous February challenge, "how I love thee" because in the end, the card was about a special love for a pet, and our love for our friend.  Thanks for looking.

Lawn Fawn & Simon Says Flikr Birthday Card

I used SSS "Best Fishes" and Lawn Fawn "Life's good", I found the ocean paper in a Momenta Super Pad I got last year and cut it to make a coastline, I used Specrum Noir pens to color the images.  This is entered into the Flickr co-challenge of SSS and Lawn Fawn (image below) and the Lawnscaping birthday challenge.

My Old Artwork

Today I am sharing a two pen renderings and one pencil as part of a collage I created (the originals are all 8x10), I did these about 15 years ago and are only a few that I kept. The center is the ink rendering which looks a little harsher when scanned, and the cat is also ink.

Mother's Day Card

Today I am sharing a Mother's Day Card I made for my MIL (it says," A mother cradles her children for a time and loves them endlessly" for the top sentiment...aweeee makes me tear up. ) The sentiments and center graphic were from Graphics 45 "A Time to Flourish".   I fussy cut them out and put them on vellum that I colored the edges with that my son's girlfriend gave me for Christmas.  The green paper Jillibean Soup and  was from Lisa Mensing  @ the Crafting Cave (THANKS). the purple contrast was K&Co "The Best of Susan Winget". I used spellbinders to cut out the center and taped the graphic behind.  The ribbon was Offrey, and the brad was from Recollections.

(All links are below and inspiration photos where necessary)I am entering this in Crafty Card Makers "Love, Love, Love" (how much more than a mother's love?); Craft Hoarders
"February Challenge - How I Love Thee";  Crafty Gals Corner "Bingo--rhinestone, flowers, ribbon or Bows, Flowers, brads);  Cure for the Monday Blues (my inspiration was the lavender circle and soft colors and the orderliness of the design.); Really Reasonable Ribbon "#112 - Purple and Green with Ribbon Theme";

St. Patrick's Day

Here's a fun one for St. Patrick's Day... Sla'inte, (cheers), Erin go Bragh (Ireland Forever)--which fits also for Simon Says Monday Challenge "A piece of Paradise" for me...The Emerald Isle... I used my personally designed cut file for the Leprechaun,   Stamps from Your Next Stamp (Holiday Cheers) with a little masking and reverse stamping I made two mugs and decorated in green dyed beer and gold for the foam and mugs and used only the word "Cheers"from the greeting and a word processor for the rest.  The background stamps were Heartfelt background builder and Crafter's companion "Sheena Enchanted Doorway"  which I masked to make a horizontal wall rather than vertical.  Coloring was Spectrum Noir pens and pencils. It fits both the YNS color and the background is similar to the picture with different "layers".

Valentines tag

Here's a quick fun one I did for my husband, mainly because it was on the fun side, which he loves, maybe should have done it in darker colors, but don't have much paper for Valentines (only what I got from Lisa Mensing on her blog).  I used papersmooches for the bee and for the honey in the jar which was a shrinky dink) the stamp for the honey was the "artisian blocks" the bee was from the free digi files www.papersmoochesstamps.com.   the Sentiment was from SSS  "Monster Hugs" (I cut to separate, thought it was funny b for bee...)  The jar and cap were from Peachy Keen stamps, the flowers were Papertrey.  The bling was from Queen & Co. The paper and paper buttons were from Jillibean Soup and  Imagineescence.
I was inspired for the Papersmooches Sparks by the flowers in the center and in the upper right had corner in the mirror, the gold colors the vase is changed to the honey jar.  This is also being entered in Simon Says Monday Challenge "red and pink", Simon Says Wednesday challenge "All creatures great and small", and Your Next Stamp sketch (yes there are three designs top, valley, middle hill, but the bottom I followed the doily lines.) Also the Flickr SSS challenge "So Sparkly"

The Heart was Momenta Metal, the Heart Lace was Simplicity. The Hangar was from Maya Road.   The other was May Arts (burlap and lace).  The other ribbons were offrey.  I highlighted many of the pieces with generic black cardstock,   The buttons were from my MIL and fit sew nicely on the project.)
