I cut the cupcakes out 2x and offset them slightly to make them a little more colorful...

Back to school...

• The challenge from Papercrafting Challenge: Magazine Mondays Week 64 was:  I thought of school, books, and knew I had a Book stamp from Crafter's Companion and had just gotten the cute little bookworm, since the bus is transportation I thought of the little Scooter stamp from Unity.  Sorry, the metal was difficult to photograph without the shine making the stamping washed out, so I kinda lost one corner in the shadows as I shot in a dark room to not have glare.

The metal paper on the sentiment, scooter (Unity Stamps "Rockin' it Unity Style), and purple background was from Add A Little Dazzle.  The book stamp was from Crafter's Companion Sheena "A little bit of Magical"  The books were stamped, colored, and fussy cut.  The scooter was stamped on Add A Little Dazzle metal,  then fussy cut, I used white pen to fill in the headlight and wheels. The 1,2,3  and Bookworm were KaDoodle Bug Designs.. The pens were Spectrum Noir.  The papers were DCWV ,Doodlebug Designs, and Add a Little Dazzle.

-Hi, I used DCWV "The Jewel Stack" and "The Glitter Sweet Stack", Kadoodle Bug cut files, Sizzix dies. and Silhouette cut files... I also used Fiskars Advantedge with Perfectly Paisley...

I used "Flirty Frames" and "Scripty Sayings" for this one... I was inspired by the lamp which was darker ant the pastel words gave me the vertical  element...

I used  the balloons from "Love Monkey" colored them with Spectrum Noir pens and then fussy cut them out and used foam dots to adhere them,  the hearts from "Flirty Frames", and "Scripty Sayings".  The Bakers twine and colored paper were from Doodlebug. I cut out the Scripty Sayings and used Fiskars Corner punch "summer fun" on the corners and also on the gingham paper.  The balloons float above the pastel colored words which remind me of the vertical items below in lovely pastel colors.

Here's a card that used Unity "Rockin' it Unity Style" (sentiment and ladybug). I used Sizzix Tim Holts for the leaves, Spellbinders for the flower and butterflies.  The paper was DCWV.

Here is a sympathy card I made for my husband's aunt...  I used the June 2013 KOM.  I printed my sentiment first and then used a Darice embossing folder on the upper right hand corner and used a glimmer mist (hard to tell from the picture).  For the horizontal strip I repeated the design several times and then cut the strip and put two contrasting papers behind and then put a ribbon over it for interst.  The flowers I colored with Spectrum Noir pens and used the same backing.  I took small flowers with pearls and taped in place and then put the flowers on with dots to raise them.  

Papercrafting Challenge: Magazine Mondays – Week 62 Inspiration Piece & Scrapit Girl---Paper Issues (updated 8/22/2014)

I thought Circus when I saw this.  For the googly eyes I found pics of my grandson and made a variety of papers from files I had and then put in black diamonds, stars, and circles.  I punched it up with a green polka dot frame around the center picture and used a card program to design the words and used the orange from the beachball with the green from the frame for the words and imported the picture into Silhouette and printed and cut them...
